Recycling BARGAIN

wayne ashworth, Amazon
5 April 2014
  • Summary: I bought this printer from a local charity shop for £15 when my main printer went down and I needed a printer just to churn out some prints. I read the reviews on this page and honestly wondered what the hell was wrong with people, all inkjet printers demand a certain level of care to keep running,...

Stay away, unless you like endless frustration

Amazon Customer, Amazon
27 January 2008
  • Summary: I bought this printer in approximately 2004. At the time I was simply a college student looking for a reliable printer to churn out papers, homework assignments, and maybe a few photos of my friends and I relaxing on the weekends. I'd had Epsons before and liked them.

Great (when it works)....

Elektron73, Amazon
30 March 2007
  • Summary: This printer is now discontinued. I note that it still shows up for sale (both new and used), so I decided it's still worth mentioning (and warning). I bought this at a show where the dealer was printing a continuous photo-paper roll of on-the-spot shapshots of customers. What a great demo!

Great printer!

Richard A. Claeys "Coder Boy", Amazon
5 January 2007
  • Summary: I've owned this printer for about 3 years. I was so impressed with the quality of the photo prints that I had to have it! I always clean and align the heads before I use it. You really can only use Epson photo paper with it. I tried an off brand and what a mess!

Do You Love Buying Ink?

Anthony J. Sequeira, Amazon
11 October 2006
  • Summary: I stuck with Epson because I really liked my old reliable Stylus Color 400....but I have some issues with this printer! Yes - this printer can print a remarkable photo! But - as many have pointed out here - it requires consistent cleaning of the print heads. What does this mean?

  • Summary: I've put this printer through the paces for almost three years now. I do landscape paintings in oil and reference photos are a must as well as color accuracey. This baby is a workhorse. From wedding photos to graphic art on t-shirt transfers this printer has been flawless.

Do not buy this printer

Brent, Amazon
20 July 2006
  • Summary: I hate this printer so bad that I will NEVER buy an Epson printer again. I have had it for about three years, and should have taken it back in the beginning. If you put more than one sheet of paper in at a time, it almost always jams.

Not as bad as everyone says it is.

Stephanie, Amazon
23 January 2006
  • Summary: I have to admit, when I read most of these reviews, it scared me away from this printer. I found it on Ebay for 30 dollars and once seeing everything here, it almost seemed like it was not worth it. Well, I decided to go ahead and try it out regardless of the reviews and take my chances.
