Epson 830u

  • Excerpt: "I have had my Epson 830u for over a year now and have not had any problems with it. The epson cartrages that came with it (origional epson in) didnt last too long but I think this is due to them only supplying a sample cartridge. I have never bought origonal epson cartridges which has made my printing much more cheeper. The quality of your print depends upon the quality of ink, paper and settings u chose but even with cheeper quality photo paper ...

  • Excerpt: "...would probably be wanting an Epson due to the easy availability of compatible cartridges for them. This would keep the running costs down. In any event, Epson's official cartridges tend to cost less than HP's. Due to my increasing use of digital photography, I realised that I would be best with a photo printer, and at the time I bought this it was one of the latest and greatest. The specs are all listed, so there is no point in me quoting them. My ...
  • Pros: High quality, cheap running costs and edge to edge printing .

THE BEST IN ITS PRICE RANGE

  • Excerpt: "This is an excellent printer. The printing quality is excellent, produces photos that are hard to pick out from the real thing. Ink lasts longer than most printers i have experianced, and the price isn't too bad. The printer itself is small enough to fit nicely on most desks top loading for ease. It also has an extendable tray to help stop paper falling off. this is particularly helpful when printing large quantities. It is very fast and effiecient. ...

  • Excerpt: "...love the borderless printing function Epson have decided to include. This has been really good with printing front covers and posters. And give a really impressive result. Talking about impressive results: I have been printing photos from this printer aswell. These photos are of people and places that I have visited. All I can say is that the quality is excellent! So much so that a company have employed me to print photos of their management team. ...

  • Excerpt: What do you want when you are buying a photo printer? What I wanted was one that would reproduce the image that I had on screen, accurately and with a minimum of fuss. When I bought my first computer, six months ago, they threw in a C42+ to complete the package. This performed admirably for black and white prints. A couple of months later, I got a 5M pixel Sony camera, and although the C42+ did its best, there was something lacking.

  • Excerpt: "Epsom have always been number 1 for printing I have had HP and a lexmark before, but the two epsoms I still have (A3 and A4) are far superior. I have run a small office for 7 years and I can say without a doubt, epsoms are quieter, quicker, more acurate, and far cheaper to run than HP or others. Cannon are good in most respects but Epsom are better in quality than these. Other important areas are support and reliability, where again it excels. The ...

Great printer

  • Excerpt: "...what I needed. I use Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper and the prints are superb. Very very good indeed. I cannot fault them at all. The software with the printer is very basic. However, I've found it to be exactly what I need. If you have a digital camera and are just looking for something to give you great prints from it with no fuss, then this is the printer/software for you. The software sets out the prints on the page for you in whatever layout ...

Epson Stylus Photo 830

  • Excerpt: "I have had the Epson Stylus Photo 830 for over 6 months now and I can honestly say I have had no problems with it whatsoever. It is simple to install and comes with simple instructions to follow for the less technically minded of us! I use it for everything - printing essays, cd covers and photos etc. The quality of the photos are excellent but for someone who needs a very professional finish it may be a good idea to get something a little more ...

Highly Recommended Photo Quality Printer

masterluk..., Ciao
9 June 2003
  • Excerpt: "The Epson Stylus Photo 830 is an excellent value for money printer (currently around £90). In fact initially I was considering buying an Epson Stylus C62, but because there's very little difference at all price-wise between the two, I took advantage of the Photo 830’s 6 coloured inks over the C62's 4 colour printing. Epson's have unbeatable print quality as far as I am concerned, especially when it comes to printing glossy photos which is my main ...

Epson 830 the best yet

JasperUK, Ciao
7 May 2003
  • Excerpt: "...look no further than the Epson 830. This printer is quite capable, with the correct media to print onto, of producing true photo quality prints with ease, remember i did say the correct media and i mean just that. Kodaks Premium Photo Paper in conjunction with my Kodak DX3700 camera and the 830 printer produce the kind of quality you get from the local photo developers. Many people i have been in touch with just dont use the correct paper and get ...
