Summary: It arrived right on time; works great! Very happy with the service and the product. Do wish, though, that it could have been shipped directly to me,in Canada -- a real hassle driving to the border and getting it through customs because it was a Commericial Purchase.
Summary: Purchase was fine but the product went bad after two years. Not happy with Epson printers. This was the second one that went bad. Also the price of ink is not worth the units. Found that only Epson paper works. I got a great buy on Kodak paper including the 11x17 glossy. Was reason I bought he unit for fine printing on the budget I have. Now I have my Kodak printer but it only does 8x10 and I have used up the paper I have in stock.
Summary: Expect to spend hundreds of dollars on wasted paper and ink not to mention hours and hours to get a single print. Epson service is a joke. When it works, which is not very often, the prints look beautiful.
Summary: This is an excellent printer. The quality of the print is fantastic and the speed is good. The maintenance of the printer is economical. I recommend this printer to anyone who can still find one on the market.
EPSON 1280 printer produces TOP QUALITY photographs without banding.
4 July 2012
Summary: The EPSON 1280 has many features that you might expect. My favorite feature is the 'WEAVING' function whichs elimates the banding other printers have given me. Those are the lines that appear in your print job every 3/4" to 1" when you print on certain media.
Summary: Brand new printer. Replaced old 1280 after years of heavy use. Other similar ones didnt have good reviews. I paid top dollar, but I consider it worth it. Now I've used it for about a week, and it's reliability reminds me of the old one.
Love this printer, a little disappointed with seller
16 September 2011
Summary: I owned this printer before and loved it. When it finally quit, I replaced it with a new Epson printer then found that the ink replacement for the new unit costs more than half the cost of the entire printer (which included a full set of ink cartridges). So I took a chance ordering a used 1280. The printer was slow to get here, arrived later than the promised date.
Summary: The Epson 1280's I've owned over the past decade have been faithful companions to my Mac computers. They have printed every media I've ever needed beautifully. The only problem I've encountered is clogged print heads. I still use them.
Summary: I asked the seller before I bough it if it worked and if a test print was done to show all colors working. I was asured it was. All the colors were cloged, the black being the worst. I worked on this printer for 3 days to get it to work. I feel that the seller should have checked the printer beforing telling of it working.
