Budget, but still good.

  • Excerpt: It's fair to say the D88 plus is a budget inkjet printer, but it is from Epson, a major printer manufacturer so the build quality is not in question. It's only fair to admit I did not buy this printer for photo's even though it does print full glossys. I prefer to send my photo's away for professional printing, however in the end I did relent and print some photo's, more on that later.

  • Excerpt: After the office printer broke, I had to draft in aquick and reliable replacement while the main one (Aculaser C1000) was getting repaired. It cost around £20 and since it was cheap and cheerful it was worked very hard. The inks are very cheap compared to other brands which is great if your doing alot of printing out. the printer is very good and it is still in great condition after being worked every day.

  • Excerpt: I've been needing a decent printer for a while now, and this one was definitely in my price range. Whilst this smart and compact ink-jet printer has very basic settings to toy with, it's a surprisingly good printer when it comes to quality and printing speed, and it even fits underneath my bed. I did find (not that it made a big difference) that the USB connection was only 1.1 supported and not the modern 2.0.

Cheap, Reliable, Long lasting

  • Excerpt: When I chose this printer I specifically looked for a printer where the cartridges were not overpriced and there were cheap compatible cartridges available. You can find compatibles just about anywhere on the internet, all good online ink shops will sell them. The printer is easy to setup, just plug in via usb or parallel and a simple install from the CD and then you are ready to go.
  • Pros: Quality, Price, Cheap Compatible Ink Cartridges
  • Cons: Quite slow

  • Excerpt: Epson Stylus D88 Printer This printer is the predecessor to the Epson D78 which was a fairly reliable printer. have used Epson printers and hardware in the past in the past and third party/remanufactured ink cartiridges are easy to get a hold of and they are also cost effective instead of paying an arm and a leg for the genuine cartridges which can be a pain to get a hold of.
  • Pros: Nice Design, Cost Effective, Good Printouts
  • Cons: Noisy

  • Excerpt: I bought this printer to replace my trusty C66, and it has not dissapointed. It is a pretty cheap printer that churns out pages pretty quickly, and has the advantage of quite a lot of settings and preferences which can be chosed dependent on quality, speed etc. The draft prefernce sends pages whizzing out which is ideal for handouts that I use for training and work purposes.
  • Pros: Cheap, easy to set up
  • Cons: Epson print cartridges expensive

  • Excerpt: I bought this printer after having trouble with printers of other brands. I had a lot of difficulty installing other printers; HP and Lexmark on my computer so i though i would give Epson a try. Firstly in my opinion this printer is absolutely good value for money. It is safe to use and is ideal in a home where there are kids. The printer allows you to print in both colour and black.

  • Excerpt: After browsing the net and reading about this printer I took the plunge and brought it. WOW is all i can say ,Print quality for it's price is better then a colour laser I use at work. Photo output on the proper paper is near perfect quality with the ability to do borderless prints. What i looked for was the economy of using the printer I didnt want to be spending a fortune on cartridges.
