Summary: Using it to check it out before giving it to my sister, I found the 670 injet Epson printer to be in fine condition although used. It was purchased to go with an I-Mac and loaded fine and compatible with such. I chose it as I like Epsons and have used them almost exclusively. This model works well for the printing that will be done on it. The simplicity of the operating is always appreciated.

Excerpt: I have had My Epson Stylus colour 670 for a few years now and it is still going strong. It was cheap to buy and is cheap to run. It may not be as modern or as versatile as other printers but its print quality is up there with more expensive models. Mine came with printer, power cable, instructions 1x lot of ink and software for setting up and various other added extras including photo editing, Etc. As like all, other printers, it does not come with the usb cable.
Pros: easy to use, quick with a good quality finish,

Excerpt: A truly amazing Printer. I had brought it back in 2001 and excluding some minor wear and tear and servicing, it is still working as good at new. The Print Quality is up there with some of the newer printers, such as the Epson DX6000 and it is very small and light. However the printing speed can be a bit dissapointing, even in USB mode and the printer is not USB 2.0 compatible, which is to be expected considering its age.
Excerpt: I have had this printer for years now, my first one infact, and I havent had one problem with it.Its amazing. Also as the printer is quite old you can also pick up the ink replacements very cheap now. Which can be brought at PC World. Below shows the specifications of the printer: Product Description: Epson Stylus Color 670 - printer - colour - ink-jet Printer Type: Personal printer - ink-jet - colour Form Factor: Desktop Dimensions (WxDxH): 42.9 cm x 26.1 cm x 16.7 cm...
Excerpt: This review is just to inform people about the Epson Stylus Color 670. However, I very much doubt it is on sale anymore. You may be able to find it second-hand from somewhere but I very much doubt you will find a brand spanking new one. Also, before I start let me tell you that this is one of the oldest printers about, not too old though, and the features don’t even compare to the one of newer ones.
Pros: Very Cheap, Fairly Efficient, Easy To Use .
Cons: Quite Old And Doesnt Include Feature Of Newer Printers .
Excerpt: I've been using the Epson 670 for about 5 years now, it has taken me through College and University and produced thesis after theasis without so much as a complaint or judder. Unfortunatly you can't buy this printer now which is a shame looking at what epson has out on the market now I am not keen to part with it. Its a noisy printer, I have definetly used quieter but none the less with the right paper produces decent copy.
Excerpt: I have one personally and i think its one the worst printers that you could waste your money on. Its got alright at printing, but its sooooooooo unreliable. Its alright if you only want to useit like once a week, but if more you'll soon see what i mean. Its always running out of ink even when you know you just put one in and its still half full, and it breaks so easily and starts writing its computer code that no one can under stand just page after page of it, not...
Excerpt: I've had several printers, including two canon, and a xerox. I like this one the best. The inks last a long time, and can be replaced one at a time which saves money. The print quality is great. I print a variety of items including photographs from scans and from my digital camera. (Fuji MX500 see opnion) The prints on photo glossy paper are outstanding, and on ordinary paper are pretty impressive too. It's quieter than others I've had.
Pros: Seperate cartridge for each colour . Good quality prints . Economy
Excerpt: when I first bought my PC I decided to go for Epson because I though it was a reliable brand and also the ink cartridsges were not as expensive as Hewlett Packard printers. This printer could print up to 1440 DPI in colour and black and white. Could print on a wide range of paper including photo paper, special transfers for clothing etc. It had only a port for a parallel cable but you could convert it to run of a USB port only if you purchased a conversion cable.
