Summary: Had this beast for bloody ages (came with my old Pentium 90 about 6 years ago I think). It's still quite fast even by todays standards. Excerpt: I've had this printer for let me see... 6 years now and it's still going strong. It's always been there for me when I need it and is very reliable. Pros: Cheap and cheerful
Cons: Very basic, cartridges hard to load at times

Summary: The cartridges for this item are so cheap (if you dont use Epson's own) that you really dont have to worry about what you print out, if its in colour etc. I am attempting to replace my last one after 3 years of intensive use finally got to it..I dont think thats bad for a printer.
Excerpt: This was the first printer i ever had, i got it when i bought my P.C a few years ago and it still works great, i have only ever had one problem with it and that was easily fixed by re-installing the drivers.
Excerpt: This printer cost me just £70 and its dirt cheap to run too as one can get ink cartidges which work fine from www.ink4u.co.uk. Colour cartridges £4, black £3. But do not use PCline cartridges from Dixons. They jiggered the printer and I had to clean it about 10X before it worked properly!
Excerpt: For those of you who read my previous op re: Staples, you will know straight away what this one is about so..read on! I have to add here that this op is not predominantly about the printer itself but more about the excellent after sales service I got!
