  • Excerpt: "...Computers in 2000 and my Epson Stylus Color 300 printer came with it. The Epson Stylus Color 300 is an ink jet colour printer. It looks quite sleek for its age, but is probably quite bulky by today's standards as most printers nowadays tend to be much smaller. The print quality is generally satisfactory and I cannot really fault it. Sometimes the quality of print-outs will appear slightly grainy, but this is normally resolved if you clean the ...

MY LIFE IS NO LONGER BLACK AND WHITE

  • Excerpt: "NO! I have got my first inkjet colour printer (I've always been behind the times when it comes to technology!). I acquired this as a hand-me-down (or hand-me-sideways!) so I'm afraid I have no idea of the price of the printer itself. Up until now I had been struggling along with pre-historic dot-matrix black and white printer (also a hand-me-down) which sounded like an earthquake whenever it started printing.Bearing that in mind this little printer ...

The price of printing

jasonever..., Ciao

  • Excerpt: "...the cartridge with a pucker Epson one is £21.99 from PC world. I would have got the own brand but PC World do not sell one for the Epson 300 Stylus. So off to search the internet for cheaper cartridges, the best i could find was on ebay.co.uk. This is an auction site but one advert advertised cartridges upto 70% lower than the Epson cartridges. So searching Ebay looking for the Epson 300, can't find it. So now im stuck with a printer, which to ...

  • Excerpt: "Epson was the make of the printer given to me when I purchased my computer from Tiny. At first everything was great but it seems to only print about 1 page per minute. The quality of the pictures are good until you look closer and see the dots. If you want a great printer with good speed of pages a minute then don't get this unless you have no money to buy a better one. I want to upgrade to the epson 640. They do colour and black & white printers. ...

Slow and very poor quality

killip, Ciao
10 February 2001
  • Excerpt: "This printer is the worst modern printer I have ever seen. It has ONE ink tank including black and colour so when black runs out you have to replace the cartridge. "Quality" prining takes forever and you can still see the dots and "speed" takes longer than quality on most printers but has lines running through it. The ink cartridge is expensive and lasts a few months at most and now ours has decided none of the ink cartridges we put in it work or ...

  • Excerpt: "...it prints poorly. Although, the Epson Answers program is very, very good. It's less than reliable. If you need to print something in a hurrny, and you haven't used the printer for 24 hours, it will to a sequence that lasts 5 minutes before it prints. It has no features - just prints. And the instructions are pretty obcure, too - full of misprints.. maybe they used an Epson printer for them. The manufacturer support is reasonable - they replaceds ...

Errrm a bit slow

lloydpick, Ciao
23 January 2001
  • Excerpt: "Well, err don't get this, for the following reasons. Very slow printing about 1 page every 2.5 minutes!! Economy printing is faster but hard to read it. Good things about it are that it has lots of options to print better what you want to print. The drivers work well as it spools very quickly. Another bad point is that you only buy one print cartridge. So once the black runs out you have to but another £20 cartridge! Very useful!!! The printer is ...

Kurzbewertung zu Epson Stylus Color 300

joker0222, Dooyoo
19 January 2007
