Summary: I have used HP printers in my home office for 15 plus years. I got disappointed in the HP printers ability to print high quality photos on photo paper. Another problem the HP's have is feeding heavy photo paper and not dragging other sheets with it. I switched to the Epson Stylus mainly for high quality photo printing. The printer does a superb job in printing lab quality photos on full sheets. The printer feeds the heavy stock photo paper perfect.
Summary: Best inkjet printer for me. I have had two others which have been replaced by another. I am happy this printer has been available for a considerable time from Epson. Says a lot about the reliability and customer satisfaction of those who have bought this product.
Summary: I've had EPSON printers for the past 14 yrs and believe they are excellent value. The image quality from my C88 and C88+ are outstanding. I do mostly 8x11 photos on semi gloss and the quality is perfect at this price range. Use high quality paper and this machine will shines in the photo category.
Summary: This is my 2nd C88+ printer, the first one lasted many years but when I finally wore it out there was no doubt I wanted the exact same one again. It is dependable, east to set up and I am again very satisfied with this printer. The print quality is excellent and replacing the ink cartridges so easy.
Summary: I have used Epson Stylus printers since their inception and will continue to do so. For my personal application, my latest C88+ functions at the same excellent level as have all of my previous Epson printers.
Summary: This was my 3rd C88+ purchase. I previously purchased all C models from 64 forward (for the last 15 years). I print newsletters, cards, brochures, and special graphic design images on this little dynamo. I would have purchased a new C88+ this year but Epson has discontinued this machine. I own the 3880 and 1400 but I use the C88+ much more. I can print photo shots as well as great text documents with the machine.
Summary: Since 1998 Iu2018ve owned about 16 u201cEpsonu201d printers, plus the u201cEPSON Perfection V300u201d scanner. Over the years u201cEpsonu201d ink became water resistant, the machines became quieter and grew sturdier, from my experience as a u2018heavyu2019 user.
