Summary: I have used Epson Stylus printers since their inception and will continue to do so. For my personal application, my latest C88+ functions at the same excellent level as have all of my previous Epson printers.
Summary: This was my 3rd C88+ purchase. I previously purchased all C models from 64 forward (for the last 15 years). I print newsletters, cards, brochures, and special graphic design images on this little dynamo. I would have purchased a new C88+ this year but Epson has discontinued this machine. I own the 3880 and 1400 but I use the C88+ much more. I can print photo shots as well as great text documents with the machine.
Summary: Since 1998 Iu2018ve owned about 16 u201cEpsonu201d printers, plus the u201cEPSON Perfection V300u201d scanner. Over the years u201cEpsonu201d ink became water resistant, the machines became quieter and grew sturdier, from my experience as a u2018heavyu2019 user.
Summary: It is an excellent "Worh horses" printer. However, there is a "week spot" in the printer and it is located under the printing head when the head is at the right hand end ot its travel path. The week spot is in the spring suported, cube shaped assembly that occasionaly pops up out of position and is nearly impossible to put back into position. I have been successful only once, otherwise, you have to send me another rebuilt printer.
Summary: The c88+ is a very good printer but the one i received, the power button gives trouble, i have to press it 8 to 13+ times for the printer to come on. When i print full border less 8.5x11 photos there's atleast one edge with a line so it prints bend.
