Summary: I purchased this printer because it was just like the one I had and the ink I had just purchased would work with it. After buying a cable which I understood did not come with the printer it worked fine.
Summary: Epson printers have been outstanding (at least the Stylus series) ever since they first were produced. I bought this C80 when my last one finally died and I had 4 brand new ink cartridges and no printer. I needed a printer for my office computer, so I started looking on E-bay. I found one and I am very happy with it!
Summary: I owned the old Epson Stylus Color II printer and decided to upgrade. I checked out the C80 and was very impressed with the speed and quality. The photo printing is extremely detailed and allows for a variety of filtering so that you can achieve the desired appeal. I have had many comments about the quality of photos, and many people are surprised when I tell them that I printed them at home.
Summary: I purchased the C80 and i must say this printer is simply amazing. This printer is the only printer out in the market with durabrite technology. This technology provides exceptional printing quality even on normal paper! Just print out a photo on regular paper and do the same with another printer. There is truly a comparison. The C80 durabrite technology blows the rest of the ink jet printers out of the water. Not to worry if your printing photos on glossy paper.
Summary: This is by far the best inkjet I have ever used… Unlike another reviewer, I had no problems whatsoever getting this printer installed and working. I can’t imagine the install being much easier. The drivers work very well with Windows 98 as they do with Win2k, Winxp and NT4. The print speeds are incredible! I can’t believe it prints this fast while maintaining such a high quality output. The print speed has also improved a lot with mixed text/graphic pages.
Summary: I thought I would take a chance and get Epson's latest 4-color pigment printer. I wanted it for an inexpensive photo printer. I thought the pigment inks would be great for their durability. I am overwhelmingly surprised. It exceeded all my expectations. It is quiet, fast and easy to set-up. I connected it to my computer according to the instructions and it worked immediately. If you are printing plain paper it is very fast.
Summary: I'm partial to Epson products anyway, but this is the fastest, highest-quality inkjet printer I've ever had. It's especially good for the price range. I generally use a laser printer for my writing business, but I've purchased a few inkjet printers over the years because I need the color capability. This printer is faster than my HP LaserJet with more standard features (such as double-sided printing) and has a much cleaner text output than many other inkjets.
Summary: The Epson Stylus C80 is my second Epson printer purchase. Epson printers always offer great quality at affordable prices. I use my Stylus C80 for both digital pictures and text print outs. The Stylus C80 handles both perfectly. I recommend using the quality instead of speed setting when printing out digital pictures. Changing the settings is quick and very easy to do. By giving up speed for quality you will have excellent digital photo print outs.

Summary: I just received my Stylus C80 and I am thoroughly impressed! It was a breeze to setup under Windows 2000. However, I did download and install the latest drivers from Epson instead of using the ones on the CD that shipped with the printer. I think the output is really clear and crisp especially for a relatively low-priced printer. I have printed some photos and B&W text. It all looks good to me. I have no complaints whatsoever. On top of all this, the C80 is fast!
Summary: I have both Canon and HP printers in addition to this Epson and I belive that the Epson is far superior to both of the others. The speed at which this thing prints is absolutely amazing. The ink that it uses is called DuraBrite and is exclusive to Epson. You can pour water on it or rub it as soon as it comes out of the printer and it will not bleed.
