Summary: The price is good and it's a simple printer, exactly what I wanted because I had one before for that lasted many years and it works just fine for me for my personal use. I think Epson should re-consider making this exact model because more people like this product than they might be aware of.

Summary: THIS IS THE WORST PRINTER I HAVE EVER HAD! My dad bought this printer when he got a new computer. It looked cool and he had an excellent time with his. It came time for me to get a computer for myself. I was going into fourth grade and most of my friends had computers.
Summary: It is true that these printers require frequent head cleaning. It also is true that they can go through ink quickly; however, this happens only if the factory settings are used. If one takes the time to adjust the printing properties, ink consumption can be dramatically reduced.
Summary: It amazes me that this printer has received so many bad reviews. I bought one USED -- the color and print quality are excellent and the machine is just as reliable as the old Epson 740 (which was a workhorse of a printer for the price). I have never had a problem with my C62.
Summary: This printer is so bad. Clogs all the time, I have almost never had a good quality print. Cartridges are very expensive and don't last. You can't use 3rd party cartridges because of embedded chip technology. This will be the last Epsom printer I ever own.

Summary: Purchased this printer direct from Epson. After approximately 3 months it stopped printing due to 'mechanical error'. Had a 1-year warranty in which Epson sent me a refurbished printer. In less than a month this quit as well due to 'mechanical error'.
Summary: I bought this printer two years ago and it seemed noisy and erratic from the beginning. The cartridges seemed to run out very fast and were quite expensive. Now I will be buying a new printer as it has a hardware problem that is not worth fixing.
