Summary: This device worked great out of the box, with sharp colors and good detail for a $100 printer. It's easy to connect to a PC, and the onboard interface works well (though it's a bit clunky). That's the good part. The bad part outweighs any advantages. Here's what happened to me.

Summary: Was truly impressed by the quality of the pictures. Was less impresed by the software in the printer to manage pictures and print - a bit confusing and slow. The ultimate disappointment was seeing how at times the paper gets jammed, which makes you lose precious ink and paper...

I tried to download the latest driver from Epson's site, only to discover that it was mistakenly a scanner driver after I wrestled with the fact that the self-extracting archive...
Summary: A belated review - I don't think this photo printer is sold now. What's worse, I bought it only a couple of years ago, and already it's considered obsolescent I think because it is very hard to find the ink cartridges it needs. It doesn't make me want to buy the current Epson PictureMate.
