Summary: Printer prints nice pics. Slow, but I expected that. Issue that I had was trying to hook up to computer via USB. Software did not completely load. I am using a Mac, and when I try to add a printer then it won't completely load. The Epson disk won't completely load either. Epson site says to make sure that all updates are provided by manufacturer computer, which I ran through, but there are no updates available.
Summary: Elegant design and easy installation. Unfortunately ink is not sold separately, and a print package with 150 sheets will only yield 50 before the ink cartridge is completed. I have gone through three print packages and here is my typical experience: Plug in new cartridge. Need 4 cleanings to get satisfactory print quality. Print about 50 pictures out of a pack of 150. Go three weeks without printing. Then need 4 cleanings to get print heads working again.
Summary: This printer was awesome when i first purchased it. But as time went on i realized it was not such a great deal.i read another review here that echoed my sentiments. The first print pack i purchased the ink lasted as long as the paper. After that, the ink runs out long before the paper.and of coarse Epsom won't sell the ink separately.no,no, that would be too consumer friendly.
Summary: The Charm did fine at first, but when it sits for a few months, it needs a whole new (and pricey) toner cartridge. Doesn't seem like a good product for people who like to print every few months.
Summary: DO NOT buy this printer!!! If you do not continue to use it on a weekly basis it will clog up!!! Put in a new print pack and cleaned the heads and nothing! Will only print red and yellow. Called epson support and they were NO help!! They said sorry I could try and take it 2 hours away for service or buy a new one. They would not replace or refund the picture pack that I just spent $33 on.
Summary: The CHarm does not have the zoom feature that was found on the earlier Picturemate photo lab Snap (gray box). That was the best feature and you've eliminated it! I like the quality of the print, but with no zooming ability the fun is gone!
Summary: Great prints. Great speed. Not the printer to purchase if you are not planning to use at least every 2 weeks. If you let printer sit for a month, you will surely be running head cleaning; eating up your ink. I have it on my calendar bi-monthly to print something or else the heads get clogged. I just sent back over 200 sheets of unused paper to Epson. I spent $8 bucks on shipping but I'll get refunded on the unused photos.
Summary: I found it easier to go to blacks and have them print it out on their automatic machine. It seemed like every 10 pictures I did I ran out of one color or the other. I think I have seven light blues which for some reason never runs out.
