Excerpt: I thought this would be a single purpose no worry printer for 4 by 6 pictures: it does not connect easily to a mac the bluetooth is proprietary it is not compatible with AirPrint it made this a pointless purchase for me, and it is not clearly defined upfront has not having those capabilities.
Excerpt: This printer worked for the first day, and that was about it. It stopped working completely after the first photo. When I enter my memory card (with over 500 photos on it) it reads "no photos found". The same thing happens when I connect it to my camera.

Summary: Owned and used the first picturemate to make thousands of excellent prints, that first one wore out - no complaints as I got a lot out of it. The pm 225 has greatly inferior quality - same files , terrible prints. Have spent better part of a week messing with it - 100 prints later no satisfaction. Tried everything, this printer is just not capable of the high quality results I got from the first model I had. A real headache and a waste of money for me ...
Excerpt: Do not buy this product from Staples.com. I use and love this printer for my business. I own 4 of them. I recently ordered one and it is defective. I have been waiting for over a week for a RMA and call tag. Staples has CHARGED my credit card THREE times for the amount of a coupon I used. THREE times with no authorization!! And still no credit for my printer. Calls to customer servcie are not returned. Called Corporate they could care less.RETURNS!! THAT IS NOT EASY!
Summary: I bought this printer to have it as a backup. I own another PM225 and it works as a charm. As I bought it as a backup, i used the initial cartdrige in my other printer. There is no place in the documentation saying you should not do that. Or a message warning you about it. Now, I want to use my backup printer and it is impossible, as it asks for the Initial Cartdrige, I still have it, but it is empty and the printer does not recognize it.
Summary: Bought this the other day. Tried printing a few pictures and discovered that it won't take cards bigger than 4 Gig. Don't have anything that small anymore. All of mine are 16 gig or bigger. Also no way to brighten or darken an image other than a few crude presets. Don't want to plug it into the computer. Since I wrote the review have tried using a 16Gig and a 32Gig SDHD cards. They both worked fine. So some cards may be fine, others not.
