Excerpt: The printer is very nice. Comes with a starter kit of paper and ink. This is perfect for the home user to print out pictures instantly at gtherings. I also use it to do passport style photos for my small business. The battery pack is great, so you don't have to be restricted to an outlet. Picture quality is as good, if not better than getting your pictures printed out at store. The upfront cost is high, but I feel that it will pay for itself in no time.
Summary: At first I was a little disappointed as I thought I had ordered a PM260 which I loved. After I saw this was a charm I started to send it back, but decided to give it a try. Love it as much or even more than the 260. I have 4 grandchildren and am always making pictures and printing them and this does a great job. I have even used it without the computer at birthday parties, etc. to make pictures and give to guests.
Summary: This little printer is mobile even w/o power (optional battery pack which I purchased), produces lab quality photo's and is pretty quick. Wish they made one to do 8x10 with the same quality. Very satisfied.
Summary: This printer worked for the first day, and that was about it. It stopped working completely after the first photo. When I enter my memory card (with over 500 photos on it) it reads "no photos found". The same thing happens when I connect it to my camera.
Summary: This does produce beautiful pictures but the ink cartage does not do enough pictures so I suggest that you order extra ink ahead of time. Using a lot of ink seems to be normal for these kinds of printers but when you consider the prints and what it takes to produce such wonderful prints it is kind of understandable.
Summary: We love this printer! In fact we are buying a second one very soon. We use the Picture Mate Charm with the lithium batteries which holds out easily for 3-4 hours for all our events that we take our miniature horses too. We are Minis and Friends, a 501c3 non-profit in Central Texas (Austin area).. normally most support visits have 60-80 pictures printed with one of the P225 ink and papers. PLEASE do not take this off the market.
