Excerpt: This printer has provided the solution I needed for envelope printing. It is quick and economical. The only downfall it has is that you can only put about 20 envelopes at a time in the feeder, other than that I love it
Excerpt: While I have relied on an Epson 1280 for many years, it was now time to upgrade my office to something with better performance. So far, this printer has proven to be very fast, while the documents are sharp and clear.
Pros: 1. Speed - this printer cranks out everything from plain-text docs to high-res prints on glossy photo paper in a hurry. 2. This printer can auto-duplex on legal as well as letter paper. 3. The ink carts have extremely high yield... base units are 3000-3500 pages, the larger units are 7000-8000 pa...
Cons: The only con is the price - it's notably more expensive than others in its class, but the performance and reliability I've experienced have made the purchase price worth it for my usage.

Summary: Installed this printer over 1.5 years ago at a school that does a large volume of color prints on a daily basis. This took the place of 5 smaller HP desktop inkjets, ink costs have dropped around 70% annually!
Summary: I have had it for about 10 months...was pc-based and now I am Apple based with a MAC Book Pro. Easy conversion!! This printer to so efficient with great quality I am waiting for another great sale at Epson to buy another for when I wear this one out!!!
Summary: I've been a home-based employee for 3 1/2 years now, and previously had been using HP printers in my home office... first the Deskjet 6940dt, then the Officejet Pro 8000. Both were dual-tray, auto-duplex units and had their pros and cons.
