Summary: This printer has provided the solution I needed for envelope printing. It is quick and economical. The only downfall it has is that you can only put about 20 envelopes at a time in the feeder, other than that I love it
Summary: While I have relied on an Epson 1280 for many years, it was now time to upgrade my office to something with better performance. So far, this printer has proven to be very fast, while the documents are sharp and clear.
Pros: 1. Speed - this printer cranks out everything from plain-text docs to high-res prints on glossy photo paper in a hurry. 2. This printer can auto-duplex on legal as well as letter paper. 3. The ink carts have extremely high yield... base units are 3000-3500 pages, the larger units are 7000-8000 pa...
Cons: The only con is the price - it's notably more expensive than others in its class, but the performance and reliability I've experienced have made the purchase price worth it for my usage.
Summary: Mac users be ready for frustration. This printer did not come with a cable or driver for operation. After five days of back and forth with Epson I am sending the printer back to Amazon. Amazon failed to note that this product is not equipped with either printer or driver.
Summary: This printer arrived intact and has meet all my daily needs. Was falsely concerned about reviews that standard printing was not very good, but I find that is more than adequate for daily printing such as reports, receipts, pages from internet. The color is great and speed is fantastic.
Summary: I've been a home-based employee for 3 1/2 years now, and previously had been using HP printers in my home office... first the Deskjet 6940dt, then the Officejet Pro 8000. Both were dual-tray, auto-duplex units and had their pros and cons.
