Great quality/price as a printer but not for the ink.
4 November 2011
Summary: Pros: There are 4 important features from this printer: Color printing is great. Black/White and Color Scanning is great with pdf creation. Pictures printing is great. CD/DVD label printing is the cheapest/best on the current market Cons: Color Ink is expensive. CISS is much cheaper but messy Strongly recommended for CD/DVD label printing with very easy image/pict importing and text.
Summary: This is a great printer and for the price, you can't go wrong. I've yet to print photos or CD labels with it, but I suspect that I'll be even more pleased with these functions. The print quality is excellent and compared to other printers in the past, the ink cartridge (thus far, I've solely printed in grey scale) seems to last considerably longer before you need to replace it.
I am so happy I bought this printer and switched to this brand!

Summary: I can finally review my printer that I bought on Amazon for an AMAZING price! I believe the reason for such a steep discount (online and on Amazon - 50% off) was due to the fact that a white version came out (nice for no dust, but a deal is a deal). I really wanted a wireless printer for the house that all my computers can use, and I had done my research for over a year ( I knew I was going to buy an Epson this time around).
Summary: I have owned a Epson Stylus 710 for a couple of years and have been really happy with the print speed and awesome photo print quality. My wife's Canon was causing us fits, so I gave her my 710 and started looking for it's replacement. After a week-long search, I opted for the Epson Stylus 725. It uses the same ink cartridges as the 710 and performs just as well, if not better. Fast, and I mean scary fast B&W or Color text! Photo's..
Summary: Wanted a printer that would also scan/copy, print on CD/DVD's and have a wireless connection capability. Seems harder to find a printer that will print to CD/DVD's than a couple of years and quickly ruled out various HP and Canon printers that did not have this capability. A search for printers with the ability to print to CD/DVD's lead me to the Epson Artisan 725.
