Epson Artisan 725 review

23 December 2010
  • Conclusion: I find that when I review two printers from the same series, I end up recommending that consumers or businesses choose the less expensive model because in the end it's usually the same printer missing one or two features that typically aren't that important.
  • Pros: Lab quality photo prints, Excellent scan software, Design choice (Arctic Edition)
  • Cons: Print misfeeds, Weak draft prints, Costly ink refills

From the Lab Epson Artisan 725 Arctic Edition

1 December 2010
  • Excerpt: (1 items) The Epson Artisan 725 Arctic Edition color inkjet multifunction (print/copy/scan) is a step or two down in features from the company's flagship Artisan 835. For its lower $200 price, however, it delivers the same high-quality output and cheap inks. Note that the glossy-white version we reviewed is available only through Best Buy stores and BestBuy.com; an all-black model is available everywhere else.
  • Pros: Cheap ink, Fast performance, Prints on specially coated CD/DVD media
  • Cons: Text and graphics printed on plain paper look faded
