Ba Humbug!

A. C. Treat "fishenfool", Amazon
23 December 2014
  • Summary: Got this printer to print Christmas cards. Printed 15 with no problem. The the printer stared jamming and just running the paper through like all 5 of the Epson printers previous purchased. I thought since I only paid around $150.00 for the other printers. Maybe the quality was lower. Paid $299.00 for an Artisan model thinking that it would be a quality product. This is a total disappointment. I am stuck with yet another high priced printer that won't print cards.

horrible prints on anything but premium photopaper

Joey, Adorama
2 October 2014
  • Excerpt: I need to print a lot on tabloid size paper so I bought this printer since it was one of the few wide format printers I could afford. I use standard tabloid paper for roughs and contact sheets and they are useless with this printer. Very dark and murky. I'm really disappointed the description didn't say PREMIUM PHOTO PAPER ONLY.

Paper/Cancel and Ink lights keep flashing

Rick, Epson
1 September 2014
  • Summary: This printer has been nothing but a headache since purchasing. The paper/cancel and ink lights keep flashing indicating error. I reinstalled drivers as recommended, but nothing I do, as recommended by Epson, seems to work. I am returning this printer and will certainly tell my friends not to buy this printer.

NEVER change router or SSID or wireless key.

Ken, Epson
23 June 2014
  • Summary: Epson provides no method to change your wireless password or SSID with this printer. If you change your router/modem or change your SSID or your wireless key, the printer stops working and there is no way to get it to connect again unless you reinstall the drivers and go through the entire printer setup process again! You cannot access the SSID or wireless key settings from any menu or from any of the printer properties menus. What a waste of time.
