Excerpt: I received the Epson Artisan 1430 printer about a week ago and have some printing under my belt already. Fist of all, Staples had the best price I could find on the web. I was also impressed with how quickly the package arrived from Staples. The print quality is very good! I've printed on glossy, matte and fine art papers and the prints look great. My one biggest concern is how quickly it goes through ink--hence only four stars.
Summary: I love the clarity & crispness I get from this printer. It's everything it said it would be...only "con" is sometimes the paper feed is a bit grabby when using smaller sized papers. Easy fix = make sure it's loaded full so there's less wiggle room. Other than that, it's a dream come true for this price point!
Summary: A month ago my trusty R260 died in the middle of a print job and I needed a new printer now! I went of to my local supply store and this was the only photo printer they had in stock so I grabbed it, went home and set it up. After a quick profile adjustment I was back in business. This printer has exceeded my expectations. It does a much better job than the R260 and seems to use less ink in the process. The prints are clean and sharp with excellent color reproduction.
Summary: My WF-1100 died after 5 yrs due to paper jam. Bought Epson WF-7110-grinding gears during install. Sent back, bought Artisan 1430, installed perfectly, 1st print (bw) was great. Epson said WF-7110 was replacement for WF-1100, but WF-7110 was massive, had special paper drawers, and was B on A, (Broke on Arrival) but Epson graciously provided a prepaid return label.
Summary: As my photography has improved, I needed a printer to show just that! This has to be the very best of all of the printers that I have ever owned. I am now printing 11 X 14, and with a frame and this new printer it is less than 5 minutes from start to hanging on my wall!
Summary: I bought this printer to replace my old Artisan 50 which was several years old. The set up was very easy, even on my android phone. The print quality is great on both color prints and documents. I have yet to try the 13 X 19 size paper, but everything I printed up to 8 1/2 X 11 is great. I printed on a CD yesterday for my grandson and it came out dry, ready to use and looking like a factory printed label.
