Summary: I bought this as the networking was important, as there is a shortage of USB ports on my MAC and I didn't want to use wireless (call me weird!). It's been fantastic, easy to set up and totally reliable. It is great as a home printer, even for fairly heavy use. Print quality is really good, though I haven't printed serious pictures as I have inkjets and dye-sub for that. Graphics on web pages look fine, though, so for fair quality I'd use it. Recommended.
