  • Summary: This is a great printer. I have been using it at my job and now that i'm selling on Ebay, I use it for personal use. It takes 5 minutes from opening the box to printing labels. Super easy to set up. Just install the software, plug in the printer and you're done. This works great with printing shipping labels and any other label that you want. It is also compatible with stamps.com. I was previously using the Zebra LP2844 and it cannot compete with this one.

Works with Mac and PC! Fast, Quiet, Efficient! 5 stars all around

  • Summary: I purchased the dymo 4xl printer because I knew that it would speed up my shipping process. I was tired of printing on full sheets of paper and throwing half away just to use the label. I also wanted to save on the cost of ink for my inkjet. Since this printer is a Thermal printer, all I have to buy are labels. I get my labels inexpensively on ebay. Also the labels are self-adhesive so no more expensive mailing tape being wasted.

  • Excerpt: I am an Etsy seller. I bought this printer to streamline my mailing process. The printer did not work out of the box. After contacting Dymo customer support they sent me a 12 step process to correct the problem. It did correct the issue. When I had problems printing an actual mailing label I contacted Dymo customer service again.

Excellent Little Printer

  • Excerpt: I needed a printer for shipping labels and this one fits the bill perfectly. It's bigger than I thought it would be, yet far smaller than my Brother printer. Still, it fits on a desktop and doesn't take up much room (it's about the size of a large cantaloupe). I love that it is a thermal printer&mdash;no ink, no toner to buy.<br /><br />Installation and setup was quick and easy. Just download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website.
  • Pros: Attractive, Good Value, Simple, Well-made
  • Cons: Pricey, Something Else To Plug In

  • Excerpt: I decided to order this after about six months of reading reviews. We have an Internet business and ship out an average of 100 orders a week. We use Stamps.com and had been using the SDC-1200 labels. It was a huge pain to have to individually load the label sheet every time. I'm very pleased with the DYMO 4XL. It's easy to set up and use. I use the labels from Stamps.com, they are way less expensive and are perforated (which is awesome)!
  • Pros: Easy To Change, Good Value, Prints Fast

Great with a small catch

  • Excerpt: Printer works beautifully however, if you want to print out USPS Priority labels or the like, you must purchase an Indicia monthly paid subscription plan and cannot use their free plan. Cannot also print directly from the USPS shipping website. Even with the additional monthly cost this is well worth purchasing if you want to free yourself from making trips to the Post Office.
  • Pros: Easy Setup, Small Footprint
  • Cons: Requires Monthly Plan

Very handy tool that is easy to hook up and configure.

  • Summary: Outstanding tool to use with my Stamps.com. This printer saves me a lot of time and aggravation. I'm using it on my older shipping computer on Widows Vista 32 and it worked right out of the box. No driver download problems of any kind. I had it set up an working in about ten minutes and I am far from being a computer "guru.
