DYMO LabelWriter 450 DUO rocks
5 February 2015
Excerpt: The DUO is the best model of all of the DYMO Labelwriters. It is a mystery to me on why Staples only has it available online and not in the stores. As an government IT manager and developer I introduced DYMO Labelwriters into my small 50 person program. I got more positive feedback on the DYMO than any other IT item ever. From my program it proliferated throughout our 4000 person department.
Excerpt: I use the Dymo Labelwriter Duo for everything, file folders, organizing bins, labeling shelves, address labels, File cabinet, Jars, Christmas Cards. I have not used for postage, yet. I use the clear labels with black mostly. I do use the white with black on items where I need a white background. This Dymo is dynamite. It prints one label to multiple labels, always clean and clear.
Pros: Easy To Assemble/Install, Functional, Well Constructed
Good design, software sucks, laminate labels limited

Summary: Dymo printers are great, but - This printer is expensive. $180??? Seriously?? - Unable to get software working on a Windows 7 (x64). Tech support was useless. - Labels. The thermal labels are reasonable, but their laminate labels selection is not that great. - The well where the laminate label goes can be tricky and if you put it in wrong, it will ruin the label I was looking a the Brother Label printer QL710W (no laminate, just straight label) and it looks pretty sweet.
Fast delivery and it works perfect. Thanks for the great value.

Summary: Needed a label printer that could print small polyester permanent black/silver labels and found this one could do it. There was this used one for less than half the price so I took a chance. It works great and the labels look very professional.
Summary: We bought this for our store as we lacked a great barcode printer. Since then, i've used both the regular barcode stickers, as well as the square barcodes and they work wonderfully. I now prefer to use the square ones because you get more bang for your buck that way. It took a bit to get used to the Dymo printing software, and once I got it nailed down, it was less of a headache.
Summary: Product not usable had too many parts missing, no instructions, no software no power cord, and other unknown parts missing. As of 1 January 2014 I have not received credit for returning this item nor any other information. As of 8 January 2014 I have not received credit for returning this item nor any other information. I am beginning to assume that the whole transaction is a scam.
