Summary: the people having all these problems have to be due to not knowing what they are doing.everything works great.the only fault is that it uses a great deal of i nk.the fax is wonderful.i faxed 9 pages in about 20 seconds.i have had my v715w and have not had a single problem.dell has been great when something does happen.they replaced parts free of charge rather than taking the printer anywhere.it id well worth every penny.when i got mine from dell it was on sell.
Summary: After using it for a month, I can report that this printer is a total charm! I love it immensely. The printed pictures come out perfectly and the eco mode, 2 page printing, wifi and the entire all in one features perform beautifully. Now, for the cons. Setting up was lengthy, tiring and very frustrating. I reread the directions on ink cartridge installation at least 10 times. Then, I watched Youtube videos and reviewed written reviews.
Summary: Not as bad as the other reviews have claimed, at least for me. I bought this printer from Dell when it first came out a couple years ago and have *never* had any problems with it. I bought it to replace a poorly performing Lexmark, which is ironic because Dell printers *are* Lexmarks. I use this as a network printer and have it connected via ethernet to my LAN from which I use it from my wired desktop and my wireless laptop and it performs solidly on both.
