Summary: My last Dell printer I would go through one black ink cartridge every 6 months plus. With this one its down to less than two months before I need a new black ink. This makes it a very expensive printer. They practically give away the printer then gouge you when they sell you ink.
Summary: I purchased this after my HP all-in-one printer finally gave out after 2 decades. I am so sorry that I purchased a Dell computer & printer. The printer is constantly giving error messages and when it works, it prints about 1/80 of what my old printer did before it needs a new ink cartridge.
This printer goes through ink like a Hummer goes through gas.

Summary: Not only that the ink is far too expensive, but the print quality is horrible. On its normal setting, it streaks every other line. Best quality will give you a product that is acceptable, but the setting will go through your already small supply of ink twice as fast.
Summary: I purchased this directly from Dell in January of 2010. The printer does not come with a cord to connect to your pc, so if this is going to be your first printer purchase in the last 10 years or so like it was for me, you're going to need to buy a printer cable.
