Summary: This was a great printer in it's time. Unfortunately Dell has chosen not to support this printer with Windows 8 or beyond. Bottom line is that it now sits idle where it used to get the majority of our printing jobs.
Summary: This is simply the best ever printer. i got it on the side of road free and turned out to be the best printer i ever had, i had many hp, canon, but this one toped all, had for 3 years now and wouldn't trade it for nothing, i cant get over how many pages you can print with out changing toner, i am a tech for directv and print orders every day and still never changed toner since i found it, never locked up, nothing, hit print on any pc in my house and it prints, never any...
Summary: I have had mine for at least 10 years and it just keeps cranking. I have replaced the drum one time. It may be a little slow by todays standards but I still fine it very economical on the per copy basis. As long as I have had it, it has paid for itself many times over. Later printers seem to be built to fail. This baby just keeps on going.
Summary: I bought my first Dell 3100cn color laser printer in 2005 directly from Dell. After printing about 20,000 pages I had to replace the black toner cartridge. At 30,000 pages, I had to replace the three color toners. While this machine only prints 600 x 600 dpi, the quality in amazing. I've had no issues with the printer. It starts quickly, prints a complete page in black or color in under 10 seconds and has been, without a doubt, the best printer I've ever owned.
