All around Kudos for Dell on this one. Does everything well and cheap to run.

Summary: It's not a beauty to look at but overall it's a great machine. It starts up pretty fast, gives a good quality image, toners last forever (which makes it a good color laser for any home or small office as cost of refills is always an issue), rather compact for it's heft as well.
Summary: I bought this Dell 1355cn laser color printer in March 2012. It completely died in June 2012. After several long, frustrating phone calls to Dell's customer service department (staffed by people who did not live in America, nor spoke reasonably good English), they replaced the first printer I...
Summary: This printer is fine if all you want to do is print black and white images on regular paper, but it jams the second you try to print anything else. Won't print well on photo paper, post cards, business cards, etc without the printer jamming up CONSTANTLY!
not a long term investment - think/compare before you buy this unit

Summary: I am now in the 10th month of ownership of this all-in-one - it stopped receving faxes (dedicated line!) and now it makes a noise like a broken washing machine each time it prints; it never had small label printing capability For the long term, this is NOT the unit you should buy - the best Dell...
Summary: I bought this as a replacement for inkjet, I use color so rarely but every time I do the inkjet had dried out. The picture quality is by far better and so far am greatly enjoying it. The only downside is that it takes a few minutes to start up.
Summary: I bought this printer and put it on my home network so everyone in the house can use it. The printouts are great compared to the HP inkjet I had been using. So my rating is based on how much better this laser printer is to an inkjet.
Summary: I have not used this printer's faxing capability, nor have I attempted to initiate scanning from a PC. When scanning, I prefer the "scan to network" option which saves the images on a shared drive, which I can then access from any PC on the network.
Pros: This is one of the most compact color laser (LED) all-in-ones, at least at the time that I bought it, which was my primary reason for choosing it. I wouldn't say it's a standout in anything, but it seems to perform reasonably well at what it's meant to do. For occasional color printing, I prefer ...
Cons: The paper tray can only be closed when there's no paper in it, which is pretty pointless. I suppose this is "feature" is a result of the printer's relatively small footprint. Also, the unit occasionally fails to wake up from sleep, even when a button on the panel is pushed, requiring a power cycl...
Summary: I'me very, very happy with this copier. I love the fact that it uses toner instead of ink. Inkjet machines are constantly having to clean themselves, during which they WASTE all that expensive ink and you have to keep buying more and more ink cartridges.
Summary: I would not recommend this printer to anyone
Pros: All In One Laser Color Printer. Network
Cons: The biggest issue I have is with Dell's sleep mode. When this thing goes to sleep it will not wake itself up when a print job is sent to it either via network or USB. You need to physically walk over to it and wake it up before it can start to print. Another issue is the built in wireless feature...
Summary: I've had my Dell 1355cn for about 4 months now, and I absolutely can't stand it. It randomly beeps and clicks and is generally unpleasant to sit next to. It also randomly goes into what I guess is a warm-up mode (complete with more beeping and clicking) and makes a big production out of printing...
Pros: print quality is decent
Cons: horrible UI not user friendly very loud not well made
