All around Kudos for Dell on this one. Does everything well and cheap to run.

Summary: It's not a beauty to look at but overall it's a great machine. It starts up pretty fast, gives a good quality image, toners last forever (which makes it a good color laser for any home or small office as cost of refills is always an issue), rather compact for it's heft as well. scans well and copies good also. someone did a good job when he designed this and the technology does it's job well. As for installation, it was a snap.
Summary: Bought this printer for home publishing, so far so good. Easy installation, no quirks in driver software or anything. scanner and copy function work great, colors are vibrant and rich even on plain paper. I plan to home publish artbooks, mostly black and white line art. Very pleased with the quality, confident that it will do what I need it to do.
This is a good quality color laser printer at decent price. Love it.

Summary: I give this printer a 5 stare rating and have only had it for a few hours. It was easy to set up and install. The test page printed perfectly. I proceed to print a color photo from a file. In no time it was out of the printer looking fabulous and on plain paper. Colors are true with even a slight gloss on plain paper. Amazing. The noise level is low and it sits right beside my monitor. I can't see my not loving this printer for year to come.
Summary: I bought this as a replacement for inkjet, I use color so rarely but every time I do the inkjet had dried out. The picture quality is by far better and so far am greatly enjoying it. The only downside is that it takes a few minutes to start up.
Summary: I bought this printer and put it on my home network so everyone in the house can use it. The printouts are great compared to the HP inkjet I had been using. So my rating is based on how much better this laser printer is to an inkjet. It uses up a lot of space but I have a large computer desk that is a re-purposed kitchen countertop, so I have space to spare. I have printed enough pages already that I would have been replacing ink cartridges on the old inkjet.
Summary: I've had my Dell 1355cn for about 4 months now, and I absolutely can't stand it. It randomly beeps and clicks and is generally unpleasant to sit next to. It also randomly goes into what I guess is a warm-up mode (complete with more beeping and clicking) and makes a big production out of printing nothing. Despite the fact that it does it's warm-up routine all day every day, the printer decides it's going to be asleep whenever I need to use it.
Summary: I bought this Dell 1355cn laser color printer in March 2012. It completely died in June 2012. After several long, frustrating phone calls to Dell's customer service department (staffed by people who did not live in America, nor spoke reasonably good English), they replaced the first printer I bought. The second printer worked very well and made terrific copies, but the software that came with the printer never worked well at all.
Summary: I'me very, very happy with this copier. I love the fact that it uses toner instead of ink. Inkjet machines are constantly having to clean themselves, during which they WASTE all that expensive ink and you have to keep buying more and more ink cartridges. This machine doesn't have to do that, so much less expensive to run.
Summary: This came to replace my old printer. It's really fast and everything works better than expected. It looks a little too plain & boring in the front but, you could also think that makes it elegant.
Summary: This printer is fine if all you want to do is print black and white images on regular paper, but it jams the second you try to print anything else. Won't print well on photo paper, post cards, business cards, etc without the printer jamming up CONSTANTLY! It beeps at you every few minutes, it beeps when it's done printing each page, it beeps when it's out of paper, it beeps all the f'ing time. I hate it.
