Great USB thermal printer, works great with Ubuntu (13.10) based distro's!
27 July 2014
Summary: Works great with Kubuntu/Xubuntu 13.10 using it with USB. Go to the citizen website and get the debian/ubuntu drivers and install them. Double click the .deb package to install it. Install the printer via the settings manager. Select Citizen for manufacture. Select the correct model or close enough under model selection. Set to default printer at the end of setup. Now you can print from applications in Linux or from the command line via lpr filename.
Summary: The printer I purchased arrived promptly, was easy to set up, and works like a charm. I had an older version for 4.5 years that stopped working. This is the replacement and I hope it will last even longer.
Summary: Came exactly as described, and has been flawless after months of use still. Nice to have the option to lighten or darken the text, the cutter works perfect, and it's quick to print off receipts. No complaints at all!
