"Used for almost 3 years--nice job"

sromary, CNET
13 April 2009
  • Pros: We use it only to print pictures--not hooked up at all to computer. It delivers superb prints, as good as what I can get from the photo stores.
  • Cons: Ink is expensive UNLESS you get it online (ebay) and it is reasonable there

I'm no tech weanie..

The Sarge, Amazon
4 July 2008
  • Summary: I don't really have a problem with the printer, it actually seems to be working fine. My issue is with the fact that it didn't come with a USB cable, so I had to go to the local office supply store and get one. The second is just as minor, but still annoying, The printer does not support 4 gig SD cards so I had to go buy a smaller SD card. Before I purchased the printer, I contacted the good people at Amazon and asked them a few questions.

Nice printer, ink can give you some trouble

DPP, Amazon
17 March 2008
  • Summary: We bought this printer as a way to generate quick 4x6 prints of reasonable quality. I must say the printer delivers quite well. The image quality is much better than I expected, its not the quality you'll get a professional photo place, but it is pretty close, better than you could hope for at the price. The print time is also quite reasonable, 1-2 minutes even for images with lots of different colors. The only real down side is the ink gets settled pretty quickly.

Canon Selphy Photo Printer

L. J. Lichwala, Amazon
2 December 2007
  • Summary: It is a compact printer that will produce very good quality 4" X 6" prints in less than one minute. It is light weight and small enough to transport to a given location (Christmas party, family reunion or other location) and present the subjects with their own prints to go on the spot. They are better than Polaroid prints. The prints are not professional quality but are close to it.

John Carey, Amazon
16 September 2007
  • Summary: Can't recommend this product highly enough. Set up with my home PC was simple and straight forward. I use Google's Picassa and the quality of the prints is outstanding. Loading the ink was straight forward and the printer screen and menu easy to see and use.

very satisfied, thinking of buying another one for back up

Frank M. Nielsen, Amazon
14 March 2007
  • Summary: I was amazed at the quality and easy use of this printer. For the low price and the extra $40 value with two ink tanks & 140 sheets of canon paper it's about the best deal you can get for the quality. If you have a canon camera already, it produces decent quality prints. You don't have to have a canon camera to use this item. You must use cannon paper only, I tried Hp paper and it prints on it but not as good as cannon. You can only take 4x6 photo's.
