Summary: I purchased the Canon to replace a similar 4x6 printer that recently died on me. I will not mention the manufacurer of the other printer because I dont work for a printer company like many of the authors of the reviews on this site. I stupidly believed that the Canon would produce just as high of quality photos as the other manufacturer. I purchased it based on the great photo results I had got out of a Canon 900 series.
Summary: I bought the printer as a present for a girlfriend. I gave it to her and I left on vacation. When I returned she told me it did not work properly. I tried to do an exchange but I was told after 14 days they will not except it. I believe it is the cartridges that are bad and I asked if I could just exchange those, but was told the same thing. I now need to purchase another one.
Summary: THIS PRODUCT IS GOOD IN THEORY ONLY!! EVEN AT THE HIGHEST PHOTO QUALITY, THE PRINTED IMAGES ARE VERY GRAINY (USING A 6MP CAMERA). ALSO, IT IS VERY SLOW AT PRINTING EVEN THOSE POOR IMAGES. I LIKED THE SIZE OF THE PRINTER AND THE FACT THAT IT SUPPORTS BLUETOOTH, BUT I JUST CANNOT GET PAST THE POOR IMAGE QUALITY!! IT LOOKS LIKE WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE EXPECTED OUT OF A DIGITAL PRINT 5 YEARS AGO!
Summary: I replaced my old HP photo printer for this one. The buttons on the HP Printer were becoming difficult to make it work. The Canon Selphy printer was horrible. The quality of the prints didn't even come close to the HP quality. I could only print 15 photos before the cartridge became clogged and had to call tech support which didn't solve my problem. I returned the printer and will purchase an HP printer again. I don't recommend this product to anyone.
