Summary: Very good printer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Simple small, the high cost of the rest on top. the quality of the four-plus. pleased with purchase...............................................
Conclusion: I absolutely love the quality of the prints that come out of this printer. It is so easy to use, so portable, and the color is awesome. My only complaint is that I wish they had one for 5X7,s and 8X10's. It is so convenient to be able to do some corrections in a photo program and then just print from home. I love this printer.
Pros: reliable, durable, Small Footprint, High Quality Output, fast print speed, easy to use
Conclusion: Interesting to see the negative reviews that focus on Windows 8 or the Apple environment. This was a snap to set up, connect to my home Wi-Fi network and print directly from my Android phone with the Canon mobile printing app. I have no idea how long it will last, but it took about less than 60 seconds to print from my phone. The colors were true to the picture.
Summary: This printer is very handy for its intended purpose (for us, printing pictures from our iPhones). We couldn't get it to work properly through our home wireless router, and were ruining some ink with blank photos (the ink tape rolls from one end of the cartridge to the other even if you don't get a picture, so you lose that ink). So.... we used the built-in wireless on the Selphy itself, connected with our phones WiFi, and BINGO... perfect pictures every time.
Summary: My wife came to me a couple of days ago saying that she wanted to start a memory portfolio - she wanted to be able to print from her phone, and didn't want to mess with wires and all that. I hadn't looked into photo printers for a LONG while, my last experience was ink jet. WOW how things have changed, and at a $100 price point! I would never have guessed... She has a Galaxy S3, and the quality is astounding.
Summary: Got this for my mom for all the family pictures she loves it and it look awesome. You are looking at a fruit roll up thermal transfer printer here. Translation it blows the socks of any ink jet. Now it is not really called fruit roll up thermal transfer. They are called thermal transfer printers. Think it is to small, well this technology is EXPENSIVE and I mean you want a 8.5 x 11 version. No problem, just spend a bit over $1,000 (USD) and you are all set.
