Conclusion: Nice print quality; however, printer needs to be hard-reset all the time because it hangs up and does not respond over the WiFi. This makes WiFi useless for me, because I end up walking to the printer literally -anytime- I want to print something.
Conclusion: It does not work on Linux Mint Qiana (probably the best operating system). It does not work on Windows 8.1. It does work off SD memory chip. All I have to do is copy a picture to the SD. Remove the SD from the computer, Take the SD to the printer, and fumble with the super small screen on the CP900. It does print pretty good pictures, and it is reasonably priced. I bought it when I ran XP. It does work on XP.
Pros: durable, High Quality Output
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Difficult Setup
Conclusion: Printer will not connect to my WiFi and I cannot install the software on OSX Maverick. I love the prints and the dye sublimation technology. But the whole reason for buying it was for the WiFi access which does not work. Would like to see a response from someone at Canon regarding this.
Summary: When it works, this printer is amazing. PROS: Low cost prints. Easy. Relatively fast. Better than any inkjet or laser I have come across. Small footprint CONS: We are on printer number 4. All is good until you get a paper jam or a cartridge problem. The "ink" in its 4 colors is all rolled up in the cartridge on this thin, clear, sticky plastic, see-through film. If anything goes wrong with it - there is no coming back.
Beware! Does not support Apple computers or Windows 8!

Summary: The printer itself is a nice little unit. It ships with five prints and an ink roll that will only make five prints, so you'll have to order more. (Note that there is a difference between the 4x6 "postcards", which have a space for a stamp, and the 4x6 prints.) But the real kicker is that for reasons unknown (I won't bother printing the reply I got from Canon) it will not support any Apple computer running the latest version of the Apple operating system (OSX 10.9).
Nice printer - WiFi never worked, support totally unhelpful

Summary: When I can eke prints out of it, it makes some nice photos. But I've never been able to pair it successfully with our rather standard WiFi setup, and Canon support said it had to be an issue with our provider, which makes no sense. Now it won't even pair over its own connection, further reducing the utility of this thing. I love the idea, but the execution and support have been lacking and highly frustrating. A total waste of my time.
Good as long as you don't use windows 8 or apple 10.8x

Summary: So sad that here is no driver support for this neat little printer. Is good for super low volume printing off of an SD card or from the camera but totally useless if you have modern operating systems and want to print through Lightroom5. Stupidly I bought $200 worth of supplies assuming that by now this would have been solved by now. Think I need to return and go with Epson charm..
