Summary: on first use it worked perfectly, instructions were in rather small print and it was difficult to decide whichc cartrisge was required. It would have been helpful to have a cartridge and paper included with the printer even though it may have increased the price as I had to wait until I had ordered and recived the cartridge and paper before I could try.
Summary: Just received item which was promptly delivered. Problem? Nowhere does it say you dont get any ink cartridge or paper! I have been buying printers for nearly 30 years and this is the first time I have bought a printer with no ink or paper. You cannot even test the thing. canon dont even give you a trial paper/ink cartridge to test it. And it appears the ink and paper come as a set - you cannot buy the paper separately.
Summary: I have had similar printers before and they always produce excellent photographs. The controls and the display are wasted on me as I always print out from the PC, never from my camera nor a memory card. But Canon do not seem to make a basic model without the controls anymore.
Summary: I have had a few of those type off printer but none like this one that can be use by battery and have found this a great printer and fantastic to take with use to print our own postcard to send through the post to family and friends
Good quality, no cartridge included, no further support, expensive

Summary: This is a great little printer that is a great addition to any modern household that takes loads of digital photos but can never find the time to make a set and print them - either in shop or online. It allows a few one-off prints to be done quickly (e.g. for a visiting relative) that are not keen on modern technology like digital photo frames, tablets and so on.
Beware! Canon no longer providing drivers to work with Mac OS X beyond version 10.7 upgrade

Summary: I bought this printer as a cheaper alternative to the more recently produced editions of the Selphy CP range. As far as I could make out from online reviews, the printing hardware had not changed and it seemed daft to pay more just to have a newer version of the same thing. Unfortunately I didn't read the specifications carefully on the Canon website which say that it is only supported on OS X 10.5 - 10.7 and when I tried to install it on my Macbook, it refused to play.
