Summary: I bought this for my mother, but it was easy to setup and perform a test print, which came out clear and within a reasonable time. Still a bit loud, you can hear it int he next room. I like that this model has more interface options for memory cards than the older model we used to have.
Summary: We ordered this printer for the purpose of making a photo guest book for a large family gathering. By switching out memory cards, we were able to continuously take and print photos of those in attendance and glue them to scrapbook pages.
Summary: I bought the Canon Selphy printer for my wife and she likes it because it is small, portable (mostly), and can be used with or without a computer. Also, I found that the price at Amazon was the cheapest on the market. Other firms were charging up to $20 more.
Summary: The printer seems great for printing from digital cameras, and it's easy to take with you and set up anywhere. If you're printing from a Mac, you might have some problems. The software that comes with the printer is very basic and has given us some problems (some photos have printed more than once...
Summary: Ok, I like this little thing. I used to have the Kodak G600 photo printer and have been looking for one like it since. This is pretty much the same thing. With the Kodak printer you had to have a Kodak camera, with the dock for the pinter.
Summary: I bought this printer for "grandma" so she could print pictures of her grandkids. She just got a digital camera and needed something to print out the pictures. She says she is electronic challenged. I set it up for her and showed her how to print pictures.
Summary: Although I've only had my Canon Selphy CP780 Compact Photo Printer a couple months, it's worked really well. I enjoy being able to print just what I want off the memory chip, and when I want to do it. Much better than standing in line at a store and being rushed by the next customer.
