    Although the Canon Selphy CP780 Compact Photo Printer is a step below the top tier of dedicated photo printers for photo quality, it's good enough for most casual photographers. Read more

    • Reasonably fast. Low initial price and reasonably low cost per photo. Photos are water and scratch resistant.
    • Photos show slight soft-focus effect. Lines on an angle (as with spokes on a bicycle wheel) can print with jagged edges.

    Fantastically sharp and richly colored photos are typical for Canon printers, but for the price--under a hundred dollars--there was no reason to expect that pictures would look as good as they do from the Canon Selphy CP780. A Bluetooth adapter and battery are optional equipment (if you wanted both, you'd add about $130 onto the price) so it's not the kind of printer you can bring anywhere--but the price and the quality of the prints are both fantastic! A basic refill pack of 24 photo cards and dye-sub roll cassette costs £15: that’s 62p per print, not including the £129 price of the printer. Yet there is no denying the appeal of personal photo card printers in the home, and the Selphy CP780 is a particularly good example. Read more

    The included CD doesn't have Windows 7 drivers, and Canon's website is notoriously difficult to navigate. When I finally found the Windows 7 64-bit drivers, they installed and ran well. Read more

    MY experience. Only worked with SD memory Did not work with my Compact Flash card Did not recognise all jpg files. Probably only works with special types. Did not work with new 10.6+ Macs So, a nice little machine, with VERY limited usage. Read more

The Canon SELPHY CP780 compact photo printer features easy-to-use and portability, and is available in three different colours, in silver, blue or pink This compact photo printer features Portrait Image Optimize that enhances photo images, improved Face Detection technology that has brightness and colour cast correction so that skin tones and faces will be produced with natural and realistic colours as well as a revision on print speed that allows a 4 x 6-inch print to be printed in approximately 47 seconds. It also features easy-to-access card slots that allow users to plug in memory cards or print straight from the camera with a USB cord.   • Re- Canon Selphy CP780

    I bought my selphy Cp780 last year (july) 3 weeks ago when printing photos it has a line on the left side of the photos. then, I went to where I bought it & they said just clean it! I said doesn't it still have a warranty as it is not even a year old and he said to send it to canon. we went to canon here in ashmore qld. and was told that we have to send it to NSW and we have to pay for the shipping fee and $50 whether threre's nothing wrong with it. what happened to the warranty thing?

  • How to print in 8-up layout when connected to the computer?

    Once I connect the printer to the computer I do not have access to the pinter settings anymore and cannot adjust the layout. Result is always in 1-up layout (even when 8-up layout was selected prior to connecting).
