Excellent product. In my book, well worth the cost.

Summary: This is my second Selphy. The first was purchased in a garage sale along with a box of the paper and cartridges. It went for $10. After wearing it out, a new one was definitely in the plan. The speed is a little slower than the inkjets, but the picture quality, input capabilities and availability of media on eBay make it a good buy for the hobbyist, or especially for grandparents. The ability to print direct from a memory cartridge means pictures in short order.
Summary: A great printer until it breaks. This was a replacement printer, the previous (same model) stopped working when the ink cartridge would not eject. But before that issue it worked very well and produced good quality photos for about 2 or 3 years.
Summary: This is great. I like using it a lot and the pictures come out nice. The ink and the paper can be pretty expensive though so I find myself picking and choosing which photos to print. It is easy to use but the display screen where you can see which photo to print is very small and not very clear so I would edit the pics before you try to print them.
Summary: I love the Selphys but beginners need to know they run only on real Canon "ink" cartridges and Selphy-specific paper. You can download a driver and some software from Canon's website. I recommend EZ Photo Print which you have to get for the CP510 but it works with this. Disadvantages of this model are a tiny LCD and no option to use with a battery, but you can often find these for a small fraction of the price of the current model.
Summary: PROS: portable, good prints, easy to use (once it is set up), consistent/quality prints CONS: hard to set up, with printer+paper+ink cost per print is high SUMMARY: First off, the setup is not as easy as one would imagine. You can print from a SD card but the photos have to be in the default folder which not every camera uses (DCIM/xxxxx/...). Mine had the DCIM but the next subfolder was a different name from the default so it didnt recognize it...
Summary: I bought this for my mom. She just loves it. It's compact and easy to use. I have a Kodak Easy Share printer and this little printer actually gives it some comp. May just buy one for my sister as well.
Great printer. Easy storage. Catridges a little pricey.

Summary: This little printer is great, and I think it is pretty quick, considering the quality. Every time I walk into a Pharmacy that has one of those photo printers, it's usually broken, and I can't get the prints I want conveniently. This thing is good to have around for when you want some prints. While not shown in my video, the white edges are perforated, and come off of the print, leaving you with a traditional 4x6 size, with postcard markings on the reverse side.
Summary: I picked this little printer up at best buy for a mere 39.99 and for the price my expectations were not sky high. I got home, set it up, fired up Adobe Lightroom and started printing. At first i chose a picture that was taken at night indoors in low light with flash, as soon as it finished (around 45 seconds) i was sorely disappointed. The picture was VERY dark, i picked it up and compared it to my monitor and threw it in the trash.
Summary: A great travel photo printer. The quality is very good and is easy to travel with. The con is that it does take only a special photo paper and is slower than some of the others on the market. I did look at them all and liked the size for travel. Also I own a Canon digital camera.
