Excerpt: I'm a long time amateur photographer that always used labs for printing. This is my first printer and have used it sparingly thus far. That said, I am very pleased with the ease of setup and the output of the files. Color prints look great and are very close to what I see on the monitor using the profiles from Canon and an eye-balled monitor calibration (there is room for improvement, but I don't have a calibration tool yet).
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Excellent Print Quality, Fast Operation
Excerpt: I was looking for a quality dedicated photo printer that would produce prints up to 13x19. A rebate promotion by Canon made this printer the best value in its class. This printer does a great job with photos, especially using the included Print Studio Pro plug-in with Adobe Lightroom. The color matches my display (using a calibrated monitor) and I have made some beautiful prints on a variety of different papers.
Excerpt: For years I have been a hardcore Epson user. When My Epson died a year ago, I began to hop from lab to lab trying to find one that would provide a product I was comfortable enough to give my clients. I found more misses than hits. When I saw this deal pop up, I didn't think twice about buying the Pixma Pro-100. and boy am I glad I did.<br /><br />I have been printing all day and I am beyond impressed with the quality of the images being produce.
