Conclusion: I have tried to use this printer with an iMac over wireless. A single A4 print takes around half an hour. And that's when it works. Numerous times it just stops half way through the print and spits out a half printed page. When it does manage to print a full page there are nasty black lines across the page. Will be sending this back. I'm guessing I've either got a dud one or there is a problem with using this printer with a Mac.
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Large Footprint, Difficult Setup, Low Quality Output, unreliable
Print quality might be great but the wireless set-up part for Mac is a disaster.

Summary: [Note: this review is not for the printing quality, but only for the initial setup process.] My wife brought this model from Amazon after reading great reviews and of course, I'm the one who has to do the initial set-up. Open the box, connect it to power and downloaded latest drivers from Cannon. I wanted to set it up as a wireless printer so that it can be printed from our Macbook air.
Summary: Canon needs to seriously rethink it printer product line. This printer is not even compatible with Mountain Lion (why is Pixma Pro 1 compatible and Pro 10 not?) -- check out the canon website if you doubt this. The setup process is incredibly un user friend. In fact, the printer is ANTI USER FRIENDLY. Maybe Canon should stick to cameras and lenses. We had to return it.
