Conclusion: I have had my PRO 10 now for 3 months. I am telling you I have spent more than a grand on nickel and dime color printers over the years. I finally said enough already and purchased the PRO 10. Wow ... as long as you are using quality paper to print on you are fine. This printer does not like cheap photo paper. Even my wife is impressed with the quality and she always finds fault in everything, especially, me. Get one and become a grown man ... or woman.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, High Quality Output, easy to use
Conclusion: I have tried to use this printer with an iMac over wireless. A single A4 print takes around half an hour. And that's when it works. Numerous times it just stops half way through the print and spits out a half printed page. When it does manage to print a full page there are nasty black lines across the page. Will be sending this back. I'm guessing I've either got a dud one or there is a problem with using this printer with a Mac.
Cons: Difficult to use, Slow Print Speed, Large Footprint, Difficult Setup, Low Quality Output, unreliable
This product is awesome, and it is worth every penny.

Summary: I bought this product because of Canon's history of great quality when it comes to printers and cameras. What I like the most about the Canon Pixma Pro 10 is the beautiful pictures it produces, and also the disk printing capabilities. I have no dislikes so far. This product is awesome and I will continue to stick with Canon's products.
Excerpt: Had previous model Canon dye ink printers, stepped up to the Pro-10 for the more archival pigment inks. When calibrated to my monitor (I have an inexpensive X-Rite Profiler) and using manufacturer paper profiles I get prints that pretty much match what I see on my iMac. My only desire would be that someone would again make 14x17 inch paper (loaded thru the back manual feed) and that the ink cartridges had more capacity.
Summary: I have almost exclusively used Epson printers and last year I downsized my printer to an R3000. In a one year period the printer was replaced by Epson 5 times. As we are a phot studio I turned to this Canon printer as a backup. The colors are great, it's a bit slower then the Epson and the ink tanks are too small, but for the price it's a great buy. Highly recommend.
Conclusion: This is printer has a large footprint, the setup time is a little on the slow side. Be sure to calibrate your monitor, the results are outstanding. My prints look like they came from a pro lab. Ink usage seems normal just print one picture a week and there seems to be no cleaning cycle that wastes ink.
Great Printer! Built like a tank and images that when compared to previous printers blow you away

Summary: I've printed the same image on both the Pro-10 and my 9000 Pro and the Pro-10 is clearly superior. My 9000 Pro was ready for replacement and the Pro-10 arrived on the scene at just the right time. I had to replace three printheads on my Pro 9000, but because it is an easy user task to replace, those three printheads combined, cost less that a single printhead on my previous Epson wide-format printhead because that was an authorized service center job with labor charges.
Summary: If you're an avid photography enthusiast this is a printer to consider. Superb results! Produces excellent color or b&w! Yes it has a large footprint and is heavy but if you're looking for truly professional results this printer will deliver. Reasonable ink consumption considering finished print quality. Very pleased with this product.
