Summary: I bought one because I have one and wanted a back-up, unfortunately the one I purchased did not work and fix was more than with. When working they are a good printer, I just bought a new Canon CP 900 and it works great, excellent quality and faster. I print a lot of pic and need them fast, pets with santa and have been very happy with quality.
Summary: I received this printer as a treat to myself since I am a scrapbooker. So far, I have printed a lot of pictures and they came out too red. I have fixed the settings like bright, etc and still they come out too red. I am not quite happy with the colors. Outdoor pictures come out great, but indoors come out too dark. I would be so happy if someone helps me with this issue. Update 1/26/2011: I have switched to Canon paper from Kodak and they came out much better.
Summary: This printer was easy to set up and is easy to use. It's a pretty good value for the money (ie not very expensive). The main reason I give it only 3 stars is that the color of the photos is somewhat dark and muddy compared to the image on the computer screen. This is also true compared to my old Epson printer which this one replaces. The Epson was a pain and I would not praise it, nor buy another of that brand.
Summary: Purchased because I had many inks remaining from a previous canon printer that went kaput. It works well on both xp and Vista computers and its size makes it easy to move to whatever computer is being used. It prints 4 x 6 borderless prints on canon paper which I have an abundance of. It is not a fast printer, but I did not expect it to me. However, it has decided not to print correctly to plain paper, but I am still able to use it for photo paper.
Summary: I bought this a few weeks ago to take to family gatherings to have a quick way to make prints. Discovered it won't read my Olympus card without going through a computer (giving me an excuse to buy the Pentax dslr I was looking at). I had HP Premium Photo Paper and the rollers kept leaving tracks across it, no matter what I tried. Had to order Canon paper (there is no store where I live that carries it) and now it prints beautifully!
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, Easy To Use
Cons: Doesn't read all cards, Only uses Canon paper
