Summary: Well, yes it uses up ink and I took one star off for that. But it has been my go to portable photo printer for seven years. Never failed, never needed service (which is good since I don't think it's repairable after so many years).
Nice 4x6 and 5x7...Just be sure to use Canon paper

Summary: Recently bought this for my wife who does a lot of scrap booking. She is the perfect candidate for this type of printer because she never needs larger pictures than 4x6 for her scrapbooks, but when she does want to frame a picture, she prefers 5x7s.
Summary: This was sold as a "new" item. It was not. I do not buy used. The package had been opened. The ink was already installed. The test papers were missing. I had apparently forgotten the rule: "if it's seems too good to be true, it is." Do not buy from this seller. They are dishonest.
Summary: I received this printer as a treat to myself since I am a scrapbooker. So far, I have printed a lot of pictures and they came out too red. I have fixed the settings like bright, etc and still they come out too red. I am not quite happy with the colors.
Summary: I purchased this printer in December 2009 and really love it! I take it to scrapbooking crops and print the photos that I need to print. I researched portable printers for a few months before getting this one. I wanted one that I could print 5 x 7's or 4 x 6's with, not just 4 x 6's.
Summary: This printer was easy to set up and is easy to use. It's a pretty good value for the money (ie not very expensive). The main reason I give it only 3 stars is that the color of the photos is somewhat dark and muddy compared to the image on the computer screen.
Summary: I got this printer at a local discount store for only $30.00. I don't understand how Amazon can put such a high price on a discontinued (or soon to be) printer. Discontinuing this printer is too bad. It almost lives up to the hype.
Summary: I received a Canon PIXMA mini320 about a month ago. It took a little minute to read the manual and get it all set up, but after that, it is a breeze to operate. The picture quality is as good as I have ever seen anywhere using the PhotoPlus glossy paper.
Summary: This printer is great, it functions well, and the photos that it prints are so bright and flawless. As an amateur <- (thats not spelled right) photographer I only with I had bought a printer that prints larger photos. And Amazon is the only place I can find ink for it
