Summary: Well, yes it uses up ink and I took one star off for that. But it has been my go to portable photo printer for seven years. Never failed, never needed service (which is good since I don't think it's repairable after so many years).
Great print quality - and it's portable! What's not to love?

Summary: It has been three years now since we purchased this little devil and it is still running great! The prints come out perfect on glossy paper (we're using HP premium plus paper) and when I say perfect, I mean they come out like you just ordered from the lab. These are really great pix!
Nice 4x6 and 5x7...Just be sure to use Canon paper

Summary: Recently bought this for my wife who does a lot of scrap booking. She is the perfect candidate for this type of printer because she never needs larger pictures than 4x6 for her scrapbooks, but when she does want to frame a picture, she prefers 5x7s.
Summary: This was sold as a "new" item. It was not. I do not buy used. The package had been opened. The ink was already installed. The test papers were missing. I had apparently forgotten the rule: "if it's seems too good to be true, it is." Do not buy from this seller. They are dishonest.
Summary: I received this printer as a treat to myself since I am a scrapbooker. So far, I have printed a lot of pictures and they came out too red. I have fixed the settings like bright, etc and still they come out too red. I am not quite happy with the colors.
Summary: I'm very happy with the quality of the prints that come out of this little printer. I have a Canon MP560 (multi-function) as well and the quality is nearly if not as good. I set it up without being connected to a PC, and it was easy. The only concern I have is with the casing that it's in.
Summary: This printer was easy to set up and is easy to use. It's a pretty good value for the money (ie not very expensive). The main reason I give it only 3 stars is that the color of the photos is somewhat dark and muddy compared to the image on the computer screen.
