Love the printer but wireless setup may be a struggle.

Summary: Needed to replace a scanner and color printer which were no longer compatible with Mavericks and a new iMac so decided to kill two birds with one stone and buy this. I work in the design field and needed it mainly for scanning, basic home office stuff and rough color samples. Since I had a Canon LIDE 30 and Pixma ip8500 it was a relatively easy transition. This is a great scanner/printer and looks great. The wireless functionality is great once it's working.
Summary: I've only had this a short time and have only used it for printing, but so far, I have no complaints. The set up was very easy, just followed the directions on the display and within 5-10 minutes it was ready to go. My favorite part is how it looks. I know you don't buy printers for their appearance, but somebody got smart and figured why not make it nice looking as well!
Summary: First Canon Printer I've tried. Had to return TWO HP's already, so I'm hoping Canon is the one! Must comment here on HP Support Service--It's all foreign and the trouble I had with communication is HORRIBLE. Three hours and nothing accomplished! Returned both HP printers and decided it's time for a change, and this Canon is the one I tried. So far, so good... Set-Up was not easy--Required telephone support, which was only 1/2 hour and easy to do.
