Summary: The product was purchased for home/office use. I like the sleek design of the printer and the size suits me just fine. It also prints well with good speed and quality print. The price was quite economical. However compared to other printers I have used the warmup time is a bit long and I am disappointed that I cannot use it to send fax messages.
Summary: This was my second Canon printer and the output quality is exceptional, a definite five stars, even with off-market ink cartridges (see: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006BG5868/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). They also seemingly TRY to get you to waste ink, probably figuring you're going to use their highly overpriced components. Pros: duplex printing, great quality, excellent color.
Summary: I bought this printer a few months ago and use it for daily printing and crafty things like photos and transfers. I have never had a printer that was this easy to use - print from your iphone or macbook with extreme ease. It's so easy that I end up printing too much and burned through the ink rather fast (2 months). Highly recommended. The color is sometimes off, but is fixed using the Photoshop color profiles.
Summary: First off, the printer does not come with a manual on the installation disc. I had to scrounge around on the website to find it and download it. The instructions for printing on CD/DVD's are incredibly hard to find in the manual. It doesn't say which program to use for printing the CD's, and when you find it (Easy Photoprint EX) it doesn't tell you how to create your own custom disc with just your own image design on it.
Summary: I usually shop Amazon.com because of their A-Z Guarantee, but I also had a $75 set of gift cards from last Christmas and maybe $30 in cash to spend on a replacement inkjet printer for my old HP Smartphoto C5580 All-in-One that got the dreaded "Print Head Carriage Jammed" error message. It printed directly on Hub-printable DVDs and CDs and could use XL color and black ink cartridges that seemed to last reasonably long for the kind of printing I did.
Summary: This review is for those who are most familiar with HP inkjets and are considering changing companies. I've only owned HP printers in my lifetime, mostly inkjet, simply because they made price sense and afterward I got comfortable. This is my first printer that wasn't HP, and I have to be honest: I was shocked withe build quality, features and intuitiveness of operation and setup. The printer is large but really beautiful and elegant. The plastics are shiny and clean.
Summary: I have never been disappointed with Canon products. The Pixma 4920 is no different. It does what Canon says it will do. Prints a clear and distinct photo. It is a bit noisy, but then I can handle that.
