Summary: I've owned this printer for just over 2 years and every time I use it, I get frustrated with something. I don't have much good to say about it accept possibly the looks and it appears to have a good amount of features...even though I don't use any of them.
OK if you want to spend $50 on ink every two months

Summary: All of the other reviews about this thing BLOWING through ink because of the constant cleaning cycles are accurate. I literally never actually print in colored ink-- my default is always set to black & white.
Summary: This printer is awful. I've had 2 other Canon printers and I loved them. This one is terrible. It doesn't stay connected to my wireless network. I have to continually re-set it up. It's extremely slow printing, going through countless shimmies and shakes before printing.
Summary: I got this on special and was so excited that I bought one for my neighbor also and his print heads went out also so read the reviews before buying a printer but I would take this one off your list !
Summary: I have looked all over the internet for way to fix this problem and I am about to trash this brand new printer. I always get "printer offline" in the My Printer status report. This is so tiresome, I have un-installed, re-installed, deleted, re-deleted, updated, EVERYTHING!!!
Wastes TONS of ink with needless cleaning cycles!!!

Summary: This printer is the single most frustrating thing in my life!!!! It CONTINUALLY cleans and cleans, and wastes endless amounts of ink doing so. It goes into a cleaning cycle before you print, and after you print, and again when you turn it off.
Summary: This is a great printer and scanner, etc., but it is extremely difficult to set up with Win 8. Canon does provide Win 8 drivers and software, but quite often the installation fails when it comes to detecting the printer either wirelessly or with usb.
Summary: This is a wonderful printer both for work and photos, etc. However, it has problems with Windows 8. Installation does not finish but stalls at 'printer connection.' You can not use the 'add printer' feature in devices and printers for Windows 8 rejects its native drivers.
Per Canon Customer Support: "Not compatible" with Microsoft products
5 December 2012
Summary: We got this printer in April, 2012. I was very happy with the quality of pictures it printed. But like other reviews state, it ran out of ink quickly. Initially, I didn't think much of it (I had been printing a lot of photos).
Summary: Pixma MG 6220 will not work properly with Microsoft Office for Mac. Tech support says it is not their problem even though documentation claims it is Mac compatible. Have used Epson printers before and wish I had never switched.
