Excerpt: The Canon Pixma MG6220 is packed with unique features, like CD/DVD printing, Apple AirPrint support and HD Movie Print. It has a really great design that includes a touch sensitive panel, but we had some issues with the screen itself. Other than that, it has a very reasonable price for its wealth of features.
Pros: Network & Apple AirPrint printing, Interactive touch panel makes things simple, Large-capacity black for monochrome prints, Very good text print quality
Excerpt: Canon announced the Pixma MG6220 and Pixma MG8220 last August as new additions to the Pixma MG all-in-one lineup. The announcement started with the MG8220 flagship all-in-one, but for just a slight step down in features, the Pixma MG6220 is being offered for $199.99. The Pixma MG6220 employs a couple of newer features, including Canon's Intelligent Touch System for the control panel and wireless Cloud Link printing.
Pros: Excellent quality photos, Ink is long-lasting (477 quality pages until they ran out), Convenient and cool touch-sensitive control panel, Super speedy draft printing, No misfeeds, jams, or other problems during tests
Cons: Slightly slower print times (default mode), Glossy surfaces may look neat, but dust collects easily
Conclusion: The single function photo inkjet printer has to fight to stand out on the market considering all the fancy inkjet all-in-ones, affordable single function lasers and cool dedicated photo printers out there for purchase. But Canon has definitely improved on the with the new Pixma iP4920. The print speeds are faster, the overall print quality is better, improved software and new features like the CD/DVD print tray.
Pros: Low initial cost, Great quality, Low energy consumption
Cons: Expensive ink replacement, One connectivity option, Processing times
