Summary: I can't wait to get rid of this Canon printer. It requires you to use bits of colored ink when printing Grayscale, and then promptly runs out of that ink, requiring you to spend upwards of $80 to buy tiny cartridges of cyan and magenta that you didn't want in the first place.
Summary: I received this printer as a gift, and though is does print nicely it costs a FORTUNE to operate!!!! I literally just use it for an occasional map & coupon printing. I have it set up to print in grayscale to save the color ink, but it still empties out the cartridges FAST!!!
Summary: A classic example of the pitfalls of buying online. Despite mostly positive reviews, my experience with this printer so far has been terrible. At first it printed and scanned fine. But after the first jobs, it now refuses to communicate via wi-fi, in either print or scan mode.
Summary: What a piece of junk ! > 1. rear slot paper feeder failed (it now won't feed the paper straight so it will always jam) after using the printer only 3 months. Tried every fix recommended and no paper jam either just a mechanical failure. 2.
will not function properly on a conventional windows vista setup

Summary: I would like to review this printer in terms of it's function but I have been unable to get it to function properly despite repeated discussions with Canon. I don't have an exotic computer or an ancient operating system- I have Vista, yet from day one I have been unable to get this machine to...
Summary: Well if you plan on refilling your own ink instead of spending hundreds of dollars each year on overpriced ink cartridges, don't buy this. It comes with specially chipped ink cartridges that start at a set amount of ink and will display zero ink even when filled.
Summary: The amount of paper jams this things experiences is unbelievable. The paper repeatedly gets jammed in the tray, and crumbles up. Sometimes It will take me 5 sheets just to print a single page document. I love the print quality once the document actually prints, but it is not at all worth the hassle.
Summary: I am writing this review for those who, like me, needed a copier scanner but are not able to spend 5 months researching it. If you are an expert, please pass by; but if you are part of the general buying public, learn from my mistakes, if you can. The machine promises nice features.
