Do NOT buy this printer for standards-compliant network use
7 December 2009
Summary: I will admit it -- I did not research carefully enough before purchasing for my heterogeneous office environment. Almost every network printer on the marketplace supports either IPP (CUPS), LPR, or SMB (Windows) protocols, and my printer servers can support any of the above seamlessly.
Summary: I really expected more for this "Business" printer. First off, the whole setting it up over the network is so arcane and bizarre. I should be able to just plug the printer into a switch and be done with it.
Ok printer, but it died 2 months after warranty expired

Summary: I bought this printer for my small business for it's duplexing and wideformat capabilities. However, 1 year and 2 months into it's life it started printing scratches on all the paper (one of the rollers or paper handlers was scratching it)--deep grooves/scratches into the paper to the point where it...
Summary: Though it may not be clear by anything but the most careful reading of the specs, this printer will NOT print 13x19 on anything but photo paper, even from the rear feed. It will not print on 13x19 plain paper.
Summary: This product should not be described as a business printer as it cannot handle plain paper above 105gm weight, nor does it have a straight paper path for plain paper. I already have a photo printer, and purchased this for business use. I consider the term business printer as misleading.
Summary: I bought this printer to replace my Epson R2400 which is now faulty. This is meant to be the update to the IX5000 which had good reviews. I am so dissapointed with this printer! I didn't find any tram lines on my prints as the other reviewer, but my gripe is the vibrating action to stir up the inks...
Summary: I'm not going to go into print quality as there will be many other reviews that cover this (it seems reasonable# There are however a few issues with this printer that I did not see in the reviews I read. 1.) It leaves wheel marks on the paper when printing photos #visible even to the non fussy# 2.
Ein A3 Drucker mit Schwächen in der Bedienung und Wartung
16 December 2012
Summary: Wer kauft sich solch einen Boliden? Canon preist das Gerät als universellen Business A3 Drucker aus und wirbt mit der speziellen ClearInk Technik, - welche den Ausdruck auf Normalpapier verbessern soll.
