The Canon PIXMA iX7000 features PgR Technology which are specially formulated LUCIA color pigment inks, with a clear ink and high-intensity Black pigment ink to deliver laser-quality text, graphics and overall quality on plain paper. It also uses five pigment inks and a clear ink for optimal printing of text and photo colors. Other features on the printer includes 4800 x 1200 maximum color dpi1 through its Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) support with a patented print head firing ink droplets as small as 2pl; built-in Auto Duplex Printing that print on both sides of the page without the hassle of turning it over manually and cuts paper usage by 50% to save time, money and paper; Duplex Print, Auto Photo Fix II which is a built-in technology that automatically categorizes images into one of five types - Portrait, Scenery, Night Scenery, Snapshot with Scenery, and Snapshot with Night Scenery - then applies optimal image and multi-zone exposure correction.
