So easy to use

htphotography, Argos

  • Summary: After comparing several printers l purchased one of these printers last year, l was so impressed with the ease of use l bought another! I use it primarily on location printing photos at wedding receptions and have found it performs brilliantly. Its biggest advantage is without doubt the very low price followed closely by the ease of changing the inks!!!! Amazing product. The best TWO printers I've ever owned.

Does not include cables

astockwelluk, Amazon

  • Summary: I'm not able to comment on the print quality as the product does not include the cables necessary to set up the machine. You can pick up a good photo printer for £50ish so when I spent £150 on this one I expected it to work out of the box but it is supplied with a US power lead and no USB lead to conect it to your computer. This is a pretty poor show and an extra expense I was not anticipating. Not impressed by Canon on this one!

not a good printer

Mr. Roy Tomkinson, Amazon
31 March 2014
  • Summary: This was sold with a cashback offer from Canon, this was not forthcoming. Worked ok for about 3 months (uses lunatic amounts of ink) then started printing jagged white lines on the prints,Canon service hopeless. Did not use for a while tried again still has the lines and now prints with a diagonal slant and makes nasty noises. Had new inks fitted and by the time it primed half the ink was used up plus about 20 mins.

Great Printer/scanner/copier

Sherry - Animal Lover, Amazon

  • Summary: Great piece of kit. I print mainly financial reports however my daughter needed a printer for colour photographs of her work and this fits the bill. It's economical neat and compact and very easy to operate. I haven't purchased Canons inks so I cannot say if it's economical from that point of view I found that the inks sold by "Inkredible" were very inexpensive and the print quality is very good.It does the job for us.

Amazing quality printer

Badger, Argos
9 January 2014
  • Summary: Bought this to upgrade from A4 printing with HP product to A3 photo printing. The first A3 print from this made us go "Wow". Already framed and on the wall. Resolution of print is amazing, speed is pretty good. Can't comment on cartridge life yet as we've only done 10 A3's so far. highly recommend to anyone wanting good quality photo A3 printing at sensible prices.

  • Excerpt: I have had this printer for months now and it's still going strong and i print every day for office use. Now going back to when i installed it the installation process was a bit tedious and tested my nerves, but the instructions were very clear and straightforward. I had a few problems when setting it up as my computer wouldn't recognise the printer, and there was a couple of issues with the icons but all was covered in the manual which was very easy to follow.
  • Pros: Silent and excellent quality print
  • Cons: Installation

Reliable and good

Derek Simpson "Derek Simpson", Amazon
8 December 2013
  • Summary: I threw (and I mean THREW) another A3+ printer of a different brand into a skip when I bought this for 1/3 of the price. After a year of infrequent use I have not suffered any of the regular glitches I had become used to. The bugbear for me is that it is hard to overrule the "idiot beginner" settings: the prinbter is capable of very very good output but I wish to print without any adjustment whatever applied by "enhance" and "optimize" controls.
