Excellent printer

Pete, Amazon
4 November 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this to replace two existing Pixma printers as the cost of the ink for those was becoming prohibitive. This one with it's separate tanks seemed like a good alternative. The printer is quite large with a broad footprint, so will require substantial space on a desk or other surface.

GREAT MACHINE CHRONIC INFORMATION ETC

Mr. Gus Wylie, Amazon
12 September 2014
  • Summary: Again, more frustration from CANON. Taking delivery of this machine just suggests that everything is good about it. Exquisitely made and doubtless a fine performer. However, Canon WILL insist on this business of backing up a machine like this with pitiful data and information.

A good basic A3 printer for the money, with no unnecessary bells and whistles.

D. Parkin, Amazon
7 August 2014
  • Summary: A good printer this, but not without its quirks. The main reason for it only getting 4 stars is that it can sometimes feel like a 'manana' machine, and can be slow to stir to action.

Great results every time

Lainey, Amazon
2 July 2014
  • Summary: I knew I would love this printer before I even got it as I had used the A4 version, Canon Pixma iP 4850 for 4 years with great success. When my overworked and underpaid 4850 finally gave up the ghost in June I was dismayed to find a direct replacement was no longer available and there was not a...

Quality printer flawed by small cartridges

Bearman, Amazon
25 June 2014
  • Summary: When my excellent old Epsom Stylus Photoprinter (7 cartridge machine) had to be replaced due only to the lack of Windows 7 drivers, I decided to go for a machine capable of A3 prints.

Great for Graphics Printing

Michelle Charter, Amazon
9 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought this as Canon is the best printing brand which i have used. Starting up a wedding stationery business, I needed something which had crisp quality and could take good quality thick cardstock.

Good for the price

I ROSSENRODE, Amazon
30 April 2014
  • Summary: I bought this primarily to print some of my illustrations and photos and so far it has given very good results on 'watercolour' and 'canvas' papers. The few tests on glossy photo paper are high quality (resolution), but I am battling to get more natural colours, as printing from both, Photoshop and...
